Advisory Board - Daiva Čekanauskas Navarrette

Daiva Čekanauskas Navarrette serves as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the California Central Coast region of the United States (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties).  She was appointed Honorary Consul in August 2010. As her schedule allows Daiva represents the Republic of Lithuania at civic, cultural, business, governmental and academic events and activities. 

 

Daiva was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and studied Economics and International Business at UCLA. After obtaining her degree, she worked for more than 17 years with investments and financial markets at Roxbury Capital Management in Santa Monica, CA. 

 

Daiva has involved herself in a variety of professional and community activities. She is a past president of Security Traders Association of Los Angeles (STALA) and served more than four years as Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Los Angeles Consular Corps (LACC). She is currently on the Board of Directors of the California Lithuanian Credit Union (CLCU) in Santa Monica, CA. Daiva is fluent in both Lithuanian and English.
